Having grown up in a Christian home, I often heard the Bible preached. My parents came to Christ when I was 12 and I saw God change their lives. After I came to Christ at 19, I had a big choice to make—Am I going to trust the Bible as my reliable guide for life?

I was in college at that time and the university I was attending was not exactly promoting the Bible as a resource to build your life upon. This tension led me to ask the questions, “Is the Bible reliable? Can I build my life on it?”

Well, it’s been 37 years now and the Scriptures have never let me down! God’s Word has truly transformed every part of my thinking and life.

Friend, the Bible is unique in comparison with every other book in existence—and its reliability has been confirmed through archaeology, ancient secular authors, the fulfillment of prophecies, and much more.

By the way, not only is the Bible reliable, it is relatable—evidenced by the countless people whose lives have been transformed through engaging with God’s Word! Jesus even said in Matthew 24:35: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” In other words, the Word of God is eternal, unchangeable, and trustworthy.
