When my two sons Conrad and William were younger, I coached them and their friends in football. The easiest guys to coach were always the ones who were eager to be in the game—they were enthusiastic and ready to make an impact. As a coach, I was always looking for players who wanted to make a difference.

Similarly, in life, I believe God is looking for people who say, “Put me in the game, Coach. I’m ready. I’ll go!” I believe one of the biggest questions that all of us have is, ”How can I make a difference?” Yet, oftentimes we count ourselves out due to difficult circumstances, insecurities, or challenges.

Friend, I have good news for you—making a difference is not about your platform or even how talented you are… it’s about having deep passion and strong convictions. 2 Chronicles 16:9 says, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…”
