Have you ever felt like you’re running on the treadmill of life? You’re expending a ton of energy, yet you’re not going anywhere. Maybe you look at your life and wonder, “Is this as good as it gets?” I understand—I’ve been there, and so have many others.
The truth is—God didn’t create you to live stuck. He created you to grow, thrive, and succeed. In 2 Peter 3:18, we’re called to …grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Don’t ever forget—God’s design for your life isn’t stagnation… it’s transformation.
But how do we get there? How do we live a life of growth? Paul tells us in Romans 12:2, Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind… This verse is crucial for understanding Christian growth, which is called discipleship.
When you surrender your life to Christ, He gives you a new heart. Yet here’s the thing—renewing your mind and growing is an ongoing process. It’s about consistently replacing old, unhealthy thought patterns with new ones that align with God’s truth. Here it is:
Thoughts create → feelings that drive → decisions → which lead to actions → which determine your outcomes
Think of your mind as a garden. The thoughts you allow to take root will determine the “fruit” your life produces. If you let weeds of negativity, doubt, and fear grow wild, that’s what your life will show. Yet, if you intentionally plant and nurture thoughts of faith, hope, and love, that’s what will flourish in your life.
If you’re ready to start making The Growth Decision every day, I’d love to share more with you in this message…
